Ali is a leading executive at the forefront of the project management business in the Middle East. He has a proven track record of delivering complex mega-projects with international partners across a broad range of sectors. 

Ali developed ASTAD’s dynamic and visionary approach to corporate management, which has resulted in the company becoming one of the largest project management consultancies in the region.

Ali studied mechanical engineering in the United States, followed by an MBA, before embarking on a career spanning almost two decades working in Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia and China. He has been ranked in the top 15 of Construction Week Magazine’s annual Power 100 list various times.

Abdulaziz is responsible for ASTAD’s commercial division. His core competencies and areas of expertise are contracts, cost, project controls and procurement management. 

With over 16 years of experience in the oil & gas, construction and real estate development industries, Abdulaziz is a key element of ASTAD’s overall operations. Abdulaziz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from the UK, a Master’s Degree in Construction Law & Arbitration and a Post-graduate Diploma in Arbitration from the UK. 

He was the former chairman of RICS – Qatar National Board, as well as a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in the UK. In addition, he is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Mohammad is responsible to make sure the teams throughout ASTAD see that a transformative turning point has been reached, and working together, with the rest of the organization on the way we manage the project delivery framework, performance and execution. 

Mohammad is an award-winning project management professional with over three decades of experience in the construction industry, spanning key projects across the United States, Yemen, Jordan and Qatar, where he worked with Qatar Petroleum from 1994 before joining ASTAD. 

Mohammed studied in the US and has a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in structures.

Nasser is responsible for General Services, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications and QHSE at ASTAD. He has over a decade of experience in recruitment, organizational development and creating competence-based development programs to support quality nationalization initiatives. 

Before joining ASTAD, Nasser worked across the oil & gas and banking industries at leading companies in Qatar including Qatar Petrochemical Company, Maersk Oil and Barwa Bank. 

Nasser received his Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering with Management from Coventry University in the UK, an MBA from the University of Hull, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Bradford.

Anas is responsible for finance, corporate strategy, business intelligence, enterprise risk management and ASTAD’s information technology division. He has over two decades of career experience across several industries. 

Before joining ASTAD, Anas worked at Weatherford International, where he served as the Finance Manager and later as the General Manager for its joint venture operations in Qatar. Prior to that, Anas was the Manager of Reporting and Analysis for Gannett/USA Today at Mclean VA in the US, where he also served in various positions over his 11 years with the company. 

Anas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Southern Connecticut State University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.

Fahad is responsible for leading relationships with our Clients, our project management delivery and executions and the day to day operations of ASTAD. Fahad is also the General Manager of ASTAD Consult.

He has over 12 years of international industry experience in Qatar, Malaysia and the USA. He sets direction, inspires and leads teams to achieve and foster the best engineering and construction partnerships. 

Fahad has built an impressive track record of operational accomplishments; he joined ASTAD as Director of Design and Construction Management in 2013 where he worked on one of the largest client’s portfolio. In 2016 he progressed to the role of General Manager of ASTAD Consult where he led our service diversification and expansion.

Fahad holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from the University of Houston.
